Compliant aluminium and glass pool fencing fabricated and certified for Wellington homes.
A safe pool fence is not optional. We fabricate, install and certify aluminium and glass pool fencing across Wellington in line with the New Zealand pool fencing requirements, so your pool is enjoyable for the family and signed off for the council.
Wellington councils inspect pool fencing carefully. The right gap spacing, the right gate self closing hardware, the right climb resistance and the right gate latch height are all required for a passing inspection. We have built our pool fencing process to clear those checks first time.
Tubular aluminium pool fencing in a marine grade powder coat is the most common spec for residential pools, with vertical bars at compliant centres and self closing pool gates.
Frameless or semi frameless toughened glass pool fencing is the upgrade for landscaped or feature pools where the fence needs to disappear from view.
Every install includes the gate, the latch, the hinges and the certificate ready paperwork to support your council inspection.
Existing pool fences can also be brought up to compliance, including replacement of failing posts, gates and latches.

The Fabricator. We fabricate and install compliant aluminium and glass pool fencing from our Kāpiti Coast workshop, across Wellington City, Porirua, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, the Kāpiti Coast and the Wairarapa, and supply the certificate ready paperwork for your council inspection.
The minimum effective height in New Zealand is 1200 millimetres above the ground level on the outside of the fence. We confirm this against your site contour at quote stage.
Only when the spacing is climb resistant. Standard pool fences use vertical bars at 100 millimetre maximum centres for that reason.
We supply the certificates and detail sheets you need for the council inspector. The booking with the council is usually made by the home owner.
Metalwork can't always wait. Call the workshop direct for honest advice and a fair quote.
